Back to School

School is back in session!  Where did the summer go?   Well it’s over and now that school has begun we need to realize that this is a great time for the church. 

• It’s a great time to invite others to the weekend service
• It’s a great time to get connected into a Life Group
• It’s a great time to show an act of kindness to someone.  Thanks for all of you that helped feed the teaching staff at Wesley Lakes Elementary school.  You guys are awesome!
• It’s a great time to focus on what is important.  Furthering the Kingdom of God.
• It’s a great time to volunteer at the weekend service.   There are many areas you can volunteer in.
• It’s a great time to enjoy the relevant messages that will change your life. 
• It’s a great time to thank God for all He has done and is doing in your life.

Back to School and Back to what’s really important – reaching the unreached for Jesus Christ!

GO TEAM!

I want to give a SHOUT OUT to all of you at Life that make ministry FUN and MEANINGFUL.    Saturday’s Music in the Park was awesome.  The band was great and everyone had a great time.   Some needed oxygen administered from playing football but all turned out well.    We connected with at least 30+ new people.   Please pray for these “touches” that God will change their life.      

Monday was also incredible – Life Church fed the 100+ staff of teachers at Wesley Lake Elementary School.   We put on the feed bag for the school by offering a full breakfast.   Many were awe struck that a church would really care about teachers!  I want to thank everyone that participated and thank Cindy Norman and Judy Kinsman that are teachers at the school that helped make this possible.    

This is the heart beat of our church.   We will transform our community by demonstrating the love of Christ.  We will be a church of service, ministry and acts of kindness.   We will focus on others instead of ourselves.   We will take Jesus to our community and to the world.    We will celebrate Life Change!    What describes our Church?   What is the focal point?   Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ alone.    Tell someone about Him today and show someone His love working through you.
