A day in the life of a Pastor

Hey guys, thought I would give you what a day is like for your pastor.   I know many of you think Pastors just have all the time in the world and get to sleep in every day; well that’s not the case. (I wish it was!)  :)      

• Up early – the usual, shower, dress, prayer & devotion.  
• Dropped Leah off at 6:15 a.m. for a school field trip.       
• Meet Stephen for staff meeting.   
• Attend Video session for the parenthood series
• Drop Benjamin off at School
• Shoot Video segments for upcoming series
• Dropped off bread and pastry donations to Feed My People food Bank.  (Walter is the greatest – if you are looking to make a difference then go and help this awesome ministry!)
• Lunch
• Back in office
• Send and respond to Emails
• Make phone calls
• Work on Church related topics
• study prep for Sunday’s message
• Prepare cd pics for Benjamins Graduation (boy how time flies)
• Pray
• Update Blog
• Done in office at 6:40 p.m.

I wouldn’t change one thing.  I’m so blessed to be a Pastor and to be part of adding people to God’s Kingdom.
