Back to School

School is back in session!  Where did the summer go?   Well it’s over and now that school has begun we need to realize that this is a great time for the church. 

• It’s a great time to invite others to the weekend service
• It’s a great time to get connected into a Life Group
• It’s a great time to show an act of kindness to someone.  Thanks for all of you that helped feed the teaching staff at Wesley Lakes Elementary school.  You guys are awesome!
• It’s a great time to focus on what is important.  Furthering the Kingdom of God.
• It’s a great time to volunteer at the weekend service.   There are many areas you can volunteer in.
• It’s a great time to enjoy the relevant messages that will change your life. 
• It’s a great time to thank God for all He has done and is doing in your life.

Back to School and Back to what’s really important – reaching the unreached for Jesus Christ!

The hope of the world

The staff and I are reading Bill Hybels book on Courageous Leadership.   In His book Bill states that “the local church is the hope of the world”.    God established the local church.  It is through the local church that the gospel of Christ will be demonstrated.    Nothing can impact the world like Life transformation that can only be found through Jesus Christ.   Where will people learn about Christ?  Where will they find the answer to life, the hope and love that will restore their marriage, overcome their addiction, give them purpose and a reason to live?   Where?  Through the local church.  I’m pumped and excited to be part of God’s plan for the ages.   Are you?

Saturday’s Prayer

Tomorrow is Sunday.  It’s time to get rest and prepare for our big day tomorrow.   Each Sunday I’m so excited because I get to be part of something great that God is doing.   I hope you’re excited and ready to see God work and bless in our weekend service.   When we come together as a church body we should experience the overflow of what God is doing in each of our lives throughout the week.    Below is my prayer for tomorrow:

• God bless our church in a supernatural way
• Help us to do what You’re blessing!
• Let us see life change happen tomorrow and throughout the week
• Bless our volunteers and grant favor on each of them.
• Send people to our services that are Hell bound and disconnected from church
• Send people to our services that have just found you and want to grow in you
• Send people to our services that are spiritually mature and bearing “Much” fruit
• Show up at our service and let the worship and message be glorifying to you
• Let us see the need for fervent prayer and to work harder at planting and watering
• Increase our body of believers in an exponential way
• Heal all that are sick and provide health physically, emotionally and spiritually
• Let us be the light in this lost world
• Increase our territory and influence in this community and world 
• Send leaders to our church
• Touch the peoples heart so that they give you their time, talent and treasure
• Help us to be real and relevant
• Give us clean hands and a pure heart
• Let us humbly serve and exalt you
• Put us in favor with the theatre, community and the lost
• Bless our families and give us a desire for your word
• Let us become Lovers of You
• We praise you for what you’re doing in our life, our church and for giving us your son
• Amen!

I love each of you.  Life church is the greatest place!
