Kids

We are kicking off our parenthood series tomorrow at Life.   It’s bitter sweet for me.   I look at how fast time has gone by with my kids.   Kaleb is now 19, Benjamin is 17, Joshua is 16 and Leah is 14.   It’s seems like yesterday we were in our den playing with them in their “Fuzzy” pajamas.

Now my house seems like a turn-style.   In and Out, all running at our different paces.   It’s bitter for me because I see the failures I’ve made as a Dad, the times I missed, the things that I should have done but did not and the teachings of God’s word that I should have hammered home in each of them.

I also look at the fine young men and lady that my children are turning out to be.  In spite of my failures God has still used Hannah and myself to raise 4 wonderful children.    I give Him all the credit and thank Him for a wonderful wife who in my opinion is the “perfect” mother and wife that anyone could have ever have.

Don’t miss tomorrow and remember it’s never to late to make a change for the better.     “Lord please bless all the families represented in our church.  Help the parents prioritize their home according to you and your word.

Blessings

Kevin
